A Yoga University will be set up in Odisha in two years time, said Yoga guru and Patanjali Group founder Baba Ramdev in Bhubaneswar.
Patanjali Yogpeeth was contemplating setting up a Acharyakulam (a school based on vedic-cum-modern education).
Talking to media persons, Baba Ramdev also said that Patanjali group will request the Naveen Government to introduce yoga in school curriculum across the state.
Replying to a media query, the yoga guru said he would suggest both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik work in tandem for the larger benefit of people.
Baba Ramdev has arrived in the Odisha capital to attend a business meet of Patanjali Ayurved Limited. Patanjali Group has a total of 100 stores and aarogya kendras located in different districts across the State.
But the bid to broker peace between the two parties was met by a sharp reaction from the BJD, which categorically denied any possibility of an alliance. Senior minister and BJD vice-president Damador Rout asked Ramdev to quit yoga and join politics.
